You don't need to know how to pose, what to wear, or have any experience in front of the camera.
If you've ever looked at boudoir photos and wondered if an experience like this is really for you, you're not alone. Maybe you don't feel like you look like the women you see photographed, or you wonder if you could ever feel comfortable creating images like these of yourself.
With years of experience photographing women at many different stages of life, with different stories, styles, and experiences, I know there is no single way to look, feel, or be "ready" for boudoir. My goal is to create portraits that reflect the person in front of my camera and capture what makes you uniquely you.
The Process
Your session experience is broken down into four simple steps:

Get To Know Each Other
We'll start with a conversation about what you're looking for from your session and what matters most to you. This is where you can ask questions, learn more about my process, and share any ideas or preferences you have. Together, we'll go over the details of the entire experience, discuss what to expect, and make sure you have everything you need before choosing your session date and beginning the planning process.

Preparing For Your Session
We'll discuss location options, wardrobe ideas, and the overall style you want for your session. Together, we'll plan the details that will bring everything together, including selecting pieces from your wardrobe, discussing what works best on camera, and sharing suggestions on where to shop if needed. I'll guide you through what to prepare and what to expect before your session, so you can arrive feeling confident and ready!
03.
Your Actual Session Day
During your session, I'll guide you through the entire experience from start to finish, so you never feel unsure of what to do next. Every expression and movement is fully guided, allowing you to relax and feel at ease in front of the camera. Throughout your session, we'll explore different looks, angles, and wardrobe choices to create a collection of portraits that reflects your personal style and the vision we planned together.

Choosing Your Favourites
Within a few days of your session, you'll receive a digital proof gallery where you can view your portraits and choose your favourite images. Once you've made your selections, your images will be professionally edited in my signature style and digitally delivered within 1–2 weeks. We'll then design your custom printed artwork together, which will be finished and delivered right to your home within 2-3 weeks.

Wondering If boudoir is for you?
Boudoir isn't about fitting a certain look or being someone you're not. Every person brings their own personality, style, and story into their session, and my goal is to create portraits that highlight your confidence, embrace your sensuality, and showcase the side of you that feels bold, beautiful, and undeniably you.
Do I need to know how to pose?
You don't need any previous experience in front of the camera! Throughout your session, I'll guide you through every expression, movement, and pose so you always know what to do next. With complete direction throughout your session, you'll be able to relax, feel comfortable, and enjoy the experience while I take care of the details.
Do you provide hair and makeup?
Hair and makeup services are not included in my sessions, but if you'd like professional styling, I'm happy to recommend talented local artists. Many clients also choose to do their own hair and makeup, creating a look that feels natural and true to their personal style.
Do you provide outfits or accessories?
Although I don't provide a client wardrobe or accessories, you won't be left to figure everything out on your own! I'll help you choose pieces from your own wardrobe, discuss what photographs beautifully on camera, and offer suggestions on where to shop if you're looking for something new.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions take place in carefully selected studio spaces throughout Greater Vancouver. Rather than photographing every session in the same location, we'll choose a space that complements your personal style and the atmosphere you want your portraits to have. We'll start by discussing the overall feeling you're drawn to and what you envision for your session, then choose a studio space that helps bring your vision to life.
Can my photos remain private?
Of course! Your privacy is completely up to you. Your images will never be shared online, in my portfolio, on social media, or anywhere else without your explicit permission.
What type of image editing do you do?
Your favourite images will be professionally edited in my signature style, which includes rich, bold colour tones alongside timeless black and white imagery. Each image is carefully refined with professional retouching, including gentle skin smoothing and the removal of temporary blemishes, bruises, and scratches, while maintaining the natural details that make each portrait feel like you.
Can I bring someone with me to my session?
To help create a relaxed and distraction-free experience, sessions are kept private with just you and your photographer. This gives you the freedom to focus on yourself, settle into the experience, and enjoy having a space that's entirely your own.
Do you offer couples boudoir sessions?
Yes! I'd love to create something special for the two of you. Every couples session is customized, so pricing is provided through a custom package based on what you're looking for. Feel free to reach out and I'd be happy to chat about your ideas.
When will I receive my images?
Within a few days of your session, you'll receive an unedited, watermarked proof gallery where you can view your portraits and choose your favourite images. Once you've made your selections, your photographs will be professionally edited and digitally delivered within approximately 1-2 weeks.
How does the artwork process work?
After your final digital images have been delivered, we'll work together to design the custom printed artwork included with your package. If you'd like to add additional pieces, we can discuss the different options available, such as albums, prints, and other artwork designed to showcase your favourites. Everything will then be professionally crafted and delivered right to your home!
How far in advance should I book?
I recommend booking as early as possible to ensure the best selection of studio spaces and available dates. Whether you're celebrating a milestone or simply doing something for yourself, planning ahead gives us the most flexibility to create the experience you're envisioning.
What if I need to reschedule my session?
I understand that sometimes things come up! Rescheduling requests must be made more than 7 days before your scheduled session date and are subject to a $350 fee. Because each session involves reserving a specific studio space and coordinating your experience in advance, this fee covers the costs involved with updating your session arrangements and securing a new date.
What if I need to cancel my session?
Due to the custom nature of the session experience, the time reserved specifically for your booking, and the expenses committed to preparing for your session, cancellations made more than 7 days before your session date will have a $350 non-refundable portion retained, with the remaining balance refunded. Cancellations made within 7 days of your session date are non-refundable.
How do I book my session?
The first step is a consultation call where we can chat about what you're looking for, answer any questions you may have, and talk through what you envision for your session.
